We’ll be finishing up the “Heart of Champion” series on Wednesday, April 22.  It’s also time to order our purity rings and order forms will be available as well.

Wednesday, April 29, Stephen Tolan will be sharing about his summer internship overseas.  We will be taking up a love offering for him and he will be hanging out at Rick’s afterwards.

Camp Forms are due with your $100 deposit on the 29th as well.  If you’re not planning on going to camp then Get with the Program!  It is a week when lives are changed, relationships are built, and a good time is had by all.  Forms are available at the church or at www.nceyouth.com

Kinda ironic that the subject will be “Choosing Sides” as our Heart of a Champion series continuesn this Wednesday night on April Fool’s Day.  Plus, Friday night is the Heat-Bobcats game and we’ll be taking center court following the game!  I am pumped to show my NBA 3 point shooting skills!

The Heart of a Champion series begins this Wednesday Night!  We’ll spend four weeks talking about what it takes to be a Champion for Christ.  At the end of the four weeks we will have our purity ring ceremony on that Sunday.  Bring a Friend!  See you Sunday!

Hey peeps!  Ice skating was great.  I hope everyone is recovering from their sore feet/ankles/shins and bumps and bruises.  I can’t believe you guys actually got me out on the ice(at least for a few laps anyway).  Check out this link to the Love/Mercy 09 promo video.  It’s coming up next December in Charlotte.  See you Wednesday!

Hey, this Saturday we will going to the Ice House to do a little Ice Skating.  Everyone will need $7 to skate and money for lunch.  We will meet at the church at 11:30 am and return between 4 and 5 pm.  Make sure you sign up Wednesday night so we will know how many cars we will need and remember…DO NOT make Heath fall.  He has ice skating fallaphobia.  See you Wednesday night!

Wednesday night we talked about our stories and how God can use them to reach others.  If you forgot your homework assignment remember that you need to:

1.  Write down what your life was like before you became a Christian.

2.  Write down how and when you made the choice to follow Christ.

3.  Write down how your life has changed since then.

Remember Paul’s example from Acts 26, but try to forget my impersonation of a “winged horse.”

And never, ever drive a church van into a creek.
